Migration Activities, Household Characteristic and Child Health in Indonesia

This paper investigates the impact of household characteristics on child health outcomes in Indonesia using Indonesian family Life Survey. birth wage, infant mortality and Z score to represent health. Using Random effect method random probit method, this found sending migrant have larger amount case than non-sending household. According that findings we know dominated by families with low incomes. However, also find food consumption influence families.
